The Electro-Acuscope is FDA approved as a medical device for treating neuromuscular and muskuloskeletal conditions in large and small animals. It is also FDA approved as a method of effective pain control and is acknowledged for reducing healing times by a minimum of 50%. It provides non-invasive micro current therapy to the body, accessing the Central and Peripheral nervous systems directly, improving the flow of blood and oxygen to the targeted area and decreasing inflammation.

 

It also works to normalize the naturally occurring electrical current in the tissues so that the body can begin the work of self-repair. The Acuscope contains a bio feedback system that is programmed with the cellular norms of animal tissues. During a session, the Acuscope reads the tissues in the treatment area, getting information on the following:   

   

       The level of conductivity in the cells, or how much current the cells are functioning with;                         Resistance, or the ability of the cells to hold a charge;        

       Impedance or blockage, often caused by inflammation or damaged tissues; and        

       Sodium and Potassium levels

 

Once it receives the data, the Acuscope compares it to the cellular norms in it's programming and then automatically adjusts the current required to restore the natural level of current in each cell. This cycle of gathering information, comparing it and delivering an appropriate current happens every 5 milliseconds. This "boost" provided by the Acuscope helps restore cells to their normal functional levels which, in turn, allows the cells to repair themselves.
